Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology share a clinical hourly rate of $193.99. Assessment, planning and ongoing-session charges are shown separately below.
Effective 1 July 2026 · NDIS & private participants
This pricing schedule forms part of our Service Agreement. Fees reflect direct support and directly related clinical work, with applicable NDIS pricing arrangements applying where relevant.
Occupational Therapy
Your OT pathway & costs.
Initial assessment and planning come first. Ongoing sessions then follow your agreed therapy plan.
01 · Direct assessment
Up to $387.98
Up to 2 hours · $193.99/hour
Telehealth or face-to-face assessment to discuss history, everyday needs and goals. This may include observation and standardised assessment where required. It can take place in one appointment or across shorter sessions.
Home visits: Travel is charged in addition to the appointment fee. See travel charges →
02 · Analysis & report writing
Up to $387.98
Up to 2 hours · $193.99/hour
Clinical work after the direct assessment: scoring and interpretation, clinical reasoning, goal development, a written summary and recommendations, and therapy-planning documentation.
Initial OT assessment total: up to $775.96 for up to 4 hours across stages 1 and 2. This is a maximum for the listed assessment time, not a flat fee. If less time is required, only the actual time used is billed. Travel is additional where applicable.
Assessment time is discussed in advance wherever possible. Comprehensive or complex reports, such as Functional Capacity Assessments, may need additional time, which is agreed before work begins.
03 · Ongoing OT sessions
| Appointment | Fee | What’s included |
|---|---|---|
| In-clinic session | $242.49 per session | 55 minutes face-to-face + 20 minutes non-face-to-face clinical work. Total: 75 minutes (1 hour 15 minutes), billed at $193.99/hour. This includes preparation, therapeutic setup, clinical reasoning, documentation, progress tracking and planning. |
| Mobile home or school visit | $258.65 per visit Plus travel | 60 minutes face-to-face + 20 minutes non-face-to-face clinical work. Total: 80 minutes (1 hour 20 minutes), billed at $193.99/hour. This includes preparation, clinical reasoning, strategy adaptation, documentation, carryover planning and communication preparation where relevant. |
Preparation and documentation are part of the session’s bundled clinical time. Mobile travel is billed separately; see travel charges below.
04 · Reviews, reports & related clinical work
Additional assessments, reports, progress updates, scoring, interpretation and liaison with schools or other professionals—with consent—are billed at $193.99/hour. Following an initial consultation, additional clinical work may commonly take up to 2 hours. Estimated time and costs are discussed in advance wherever possible.
Speech Pathology
Your Speech pathway & costs.
We start with a consultation, recommend formal assessment only where useful, and build an individual plan before ongoing therapy.
01 · Initial consultation
$193.99
1 hour
An appointment to understand communication strengths, concerns, history and priorities across home, school, work and community settings.
Home visits: Travel is charged in addition to the appointment fee. See travel charges →
02 · Assessment, if recommended
$193.99/hour
Time and likely cost discussed before proceeding
Formal assessment is not automatically required. Your Speech Pathologist explains which assessment is recommended, why it is useful, the expected direct and non-face-to-face time, and whether a report or summary is included.
03 · Individual therapy plan
Up to $387.98
Up to 2 hours · $193.99/hour
A practical roadmap covering meaningful goals, therapy frequency and setting, intervention priorities, relevant strategies and how progress will be reviewed. Only the time actually needed is charged.
04 · Ongoing Speech sessions
| Appointment | Fee | What’s included |
|---|---|---|
| In-clinic session | $242.49 per session | 55 minutes face-to-face + 20 minutes non-face-to-face clinical work. Total: 75 minutes (1 hour 15 minutes), billed at $193.99/hour. |
| Mobile home or school visit | $258.65 per visit Plus travel | 60 minutes face-to-face + 20 minutes non-face-to-face clinical work. Total: 80 minutes (1 hour 20 minutes), billed at $193.99/hour. |
The 20 minutes of non-face-to-face time covers directly related clinical work, such as preparation, clinical reasoning, documentation and planning. Session length, frequency, delivery location and applicable travel are explained before ongoing therapy begins.
Additional clinical work, such as reports, assessment analysis and liaison—with consent—is billed at $193.99/hour. Estimated time and cost are discussed in advance wherever possible. See travel charges below →
Mobile appointments
Travel is separate from therapy.
Travel time
$97/hour
Based on reasonable time travelled
Travel to your appointment and between consecutive appointments may be charged. Travel time is not billed at the same time as therapy.
Vehicle expenses
$0.99/km
Based on kilometres travelled
Vehicle charges cover travel-related expenses. Travel charges are discussed in advance and kept to the minimum reasonable amount.
Where practical, travel for the day is shared fairly between participants. Mobile appointments are grouped by area across Canberra, Queanbeyan and surrounding communities to reduce unnecessary travel time and costs.

Cancellations and rescheduling
Please give at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Exceptional circumstances, such as sudden illness or emergencies, are considered case by case.

Group programs are planned to begin Saturday 17 October 2026. Prices, eligibility and billing arrangements will be confirmed before enrolment. Explore group programs or contact our team for details.
Assessments, reports and other clinical work
Assessments, scoring, analysis, reports, written summaries, progress updates and liaison with schools or other professionals—with consent—are billed at $193.99/hour. Time and estimated costs are discussed in advance wherever possible. Comprehensive or complex reports may require additional time, which is agreed before work begins.
Effective date and changes to pricing
The current schedule is effective from 1 July 2026 and applies to NDIS and private participants. It forms part of the Phoenix Project Allied Health Service Agreement. Prices may be updated for NDIS pricing changes, annual indexation or operational changes; participants and/or guardians are notified of significant changes.
Can we use both OT and Speech Pathology?
Where both services are appropriate, clinicians can coordinate support around your young person’s goals. Each service has its own assessment, planning and ongoing therapy pathway, as set out above.
