NDIS Registered Occupational Therapy
Empowering Young People Through Occupational Therapy
Phoenix Project delivers evidence-based Occupational Therapy for children and adolescents with disability. Our structured, outcomes-focused approach uses therapeutic tabletop gaming and group programs to build confidence, social skills, and independence.
Evidence-Based Practice
All interventions are grounded in current research and allied health best practices.
Capacity Building Focus
Services are tailored to enhance functional, social, and emotional skills for lasting impact.
Therapeutic Gaming
Tabletop games are used as purposeful, structured tools for skill development, not entertainment.
Occupational Therapy at Phoenix Project Allied Health
At Phoenix Project Allied Health, our Occupational Therapists deliver high-quality, evidence-informed therapy through a flexible, mobile service model. For the first six months of operation, our OT services are provided exclusively via home, school, and community visits, allowing us to meet participants where they are most comfortable and where skills are most meaningful.
This approach enables therapy to be embedded into real-world environments — supporting practical skill development, participation, and outcomes that translate directly into everyday life.
A Mobile Service Designed for Real-World Impact
By delivering therapy in homes, schools, and community settings, our Occupational Therapists are able to:
- observe challenges and strengths in natural environments,
- collaborate closely with families, educators, and support networks,
- tailor strategies that are practical, relevant, and sustainable,
- reduce barriers to access such as travel, fatigue, or unfamiliar clinic spaces.
As Phoenix Project continues to grow, we plan to expand into clinic-based services and group programs. For now, our mobile model allows us to remain responsive, accessible, and outcomes-focused.
Therapists Who Go Beyond the Standard Approach
Our Occupational Therapists are passionate, skilled professionals who bring curiosity, creativity, and clinical excellence to their work. They are not content with “one-size-fits-all” therapy. Instead, they are committed to:
- continuously learning from what works (and what doesn’t),
- exploring innovative and engaging approaches to therapy,
- adapting interventions to suit individual interests, strengths, and goals,
- maintaining high ethical and professional standards at all times.
At Phoenix Project, therapy is not just about ticking boxes — it’s about helping participants build capacity, confidence, and independence in ways that feel meaningful and motivating.
Goal-Driven, Engaging, and Forward-Thinking
We believe the best outcomes are achieved when therapy is engaging, purposeful, and aligned with what matters to the participant. Our Occupational Therapists actively seek out and develop new methods to support progress — including play-based, interest-driven, and collaborative approaches that promote participation and enjoyment alongside skill development.
Whether supporting daily living skills, emotional regulation, participation, executive functioning, or social engagement, our therapists are focused on helping each person move closer to their goals — and celebrating progress along the way. What is Occupational Therapy?
Occupational Therapy helps young people with disability to develop the skills they need for everyday life—at home, at school, and in the community. Our therapists work collaboratively with families and support networks to set meaningful, achievable goals.
